Come join us for the 1st annual Santa’s Misfit Net on December 24th 2022, Christmas Eve.

As we celebrate Santa coming to town.

This net is sponsored by Shawn, W7AZC who was instrumental in securing the Special Event callsign “N1C”, Number 1 Claus. This net will be commence at 4pm EST/2100 UTC and will conclude at 7pm EST/2400 UTC, with three of Santa’s elves helping out. We will be tracking Santa’s progress throughout the net via the NORAD Tracking System. So young and old please come and join us for this celebration. A special event QSL Card will be available upon request. Let Santa’s elf know that you want a QSL card. You can checkin with all of Santa’s elves and get a QSL Card from each of them. This special event net will be carried on Allstar nodes 506451 and 506452 which are the “Mistfit Hub’s”. We are also on EchoLink via the ROC-HAM, WALES and HAM Conference Servers. We are also on the FreeSTAR Multimode Network and on the International Radio Network (IRN). Many other EchoLink and AllStar nodes will be connected for this special event. Third party traffic is always welcomed. Join us for a celebration to remember. Bring your Egg Nog and whatever festive drinks as we celebrate SANTA COMING TO TOWN!!

SPECIAL EVENT SANTA MISFIT NET QSL CARD Information

Speaking of checking in, a SANTA MISFIT NET QSL CARD will be available upon request. Just tell the net controller and they will put you down for one and of course to obtain your special event QSL Card. A big Thank You to W2JLD/John for the amazing job of creating the special event qsl card, you can always count on John to put together a great card.

Send a S.A.S.E. (self addressed stamped envelope) to W2JLD, my address is good on QRZ, If you do not want to do the S.A.S.E envelope, you can also send a donation of 5.00 USD to cover postage and handling cost at dmotorsports@gmail.com (PAYPAL Account).

IF YOU CHECK IN WITH ALL THE NET CONTROLLERS, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU SUPPLY THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF POSTAGE.

THERE WILL BE NO ELECTRONIC VERSION OF THE SPECIAL EVENT QSL CARD FOR THIS EVENT.
